Located in Alpharetta, McGinnis Pet Hospital is an independent family-owned and operated veterinary clinic serving dogs, cats, and their owners throughout the region, including Cummings, Roswell, Woodstock, Suwanee, Johns Creek, and Atlanta. We pride ourselves on providing personalized patient care and working closely with pet parents.

Our mission is to help your pet live the healthiest, happiest life possible. We do that by providing individualized care and listening carefully to every pet parent who enters our facility. We understand that your dog or cat is a member of your family, and as our patient, they’ll become a member of our family, too.

Meet Dr. Sravanthi Bodapati

Chief Veterinarian

Dr. Sravanthi Bodapati, better known as Dr. B. or Dr. Bodapati, earned her DVM from SVVU in India and a Master’s degree in Biology from Marshall University in West Virginia. She has been practicing veterinary medicine in the United States since 2012 and joined the team at McGinnis Pet Hospital in 2022. Dr. Bodapati enjoys veterinary medicine and, prior to working as a veterinarian, she was a research associate at Marshall University where she studied cancer and diabetes. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Indian Veterinary Medical Association (INVMA).

Outside of work, Dr. Bodapati enjoys watching movies and spending time with her family, including her kids and her kitten, Hunter.
